1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a coaching session, registering a player, or using the website of LG Cricket Coaching, parents, guardians, and participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings & Registration Deadlines
Registration: Player places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings are only confirmed upon completion of the registration form and receipt of full payment.
Deadlines: For block programs (such as Winter Coaching blocks), registrations must be completed on or before the advertised closing date (e.g., 15th September 2026). Once capacity is reached (e.g., maximum 14 players), registration will automatically close.
Participant Details: Parents/guardians must ensure that all contact, emergency, and medical information provided during registration is complete and accurate.
3. Fees & Payment Terms
All fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the first session, block, or 1-to-1 appointment unless explicit installment arrangements have been agreed in writing.
Payments can be processed via our designated online booking channels (e.g., Calendly/Stripe) or direct bank transfer.
LG Cricket Coaching reserves the right to refuse player entry to sessions if fees remain unpaid.
4. Cancellations, Refunds & Absences
Cancellations by Customer:
1-to-1 & Small Group Coaching: Notice of cancellation must be provided at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.
Block Programs (e.g., 8-Week Winter Coaching): Refunds for block packages are only granted if requested in writing at least 7 days prior to the start date of the first session. Once a block program has commenced, missed sessions by the participant are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellations by LG Cricket Coaching:
If a session is cancelled due to coach illness, venue unavailability, or severe adverse weather, LG Cricket Coaching will endeavor to offer a make-up session. If a replacement session cannot be scheduled, a credit or pro-rata refund for that session will be issued.
5. Health, Safety & Medical Conditions
Fitness to Participate: Parents/guardians must ensure the player is physically fit and capable of participating in strenuous sports activities.
Medical Information: Any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or special educational needs must be disclosed during registration.
First Aid & Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, coaches (who are First Aid certified) are authorized to administer basic first aid and, if necessary, seek emergency medical services.
6. Player Conduct & Behavior
Players are expected to show respect to coaches, venue staff, facilities, and fellow players at all times.
LG Cricket Coaching maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, abusive language, or persistent disruptive behavior. LG Cricket Coaching reserves the right to exclude a player from sessions without refund if their behavior compromises the safety or enjoyment of others.
7. Equipment, Clothing & Personal Belongings
Kit & Gear: Participants must wear appropriate sportswear and indoor non-marking cricket shoes/trainers. Full protective gear (pads, gloves, helmet, box) is required during hardball sessions and BOLA bowling machine practice.
Personal Belongings: LG Cricket Coaching is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings, cricket kit, or electronic devices at training venues.
8. Venue & Facility Rules
All participants and attending parents/guardians must adhere to the rules and policies of the host venue (e.g., Change Foundation, Wallington).
Parents/guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up players promptly at the designated start and end times of each session.
9. Limitation of Liability
Cricket is a dynamic sport involving physical activity and ball play. While LG Cricket Coaching takes all reasonable precautions, conducts risk assessments, and employs ECB-qualified coaches to maintain a safe environment, participation is at the player's own risk.
LG Cricket Coaching shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or property damage sustained during sessions, except where caused directly by proven negligence on our part.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
